Website Template Help? I can help you! A recent assignment
was a “rush job” (had to be completed within 3 weeks) designing 34 web
sites from 34 different website templates. All the websites had slightly
different content (text and photos), and all were 9 pages each. That
is 306 web pages! It was a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) project
for an Artist.
That was my introduction
to Macromedia Dreamweaver MX. In addition to tweaking each website
template's CSS (cascading style sheet) and the HTML/ XHTML; I had to edit/
resize/ crop just about all the artwork/ graphics to fit into each template.
Plus I had to choose which artwork would be displayed on each page (there
were at least six other artists featured on each "site". It was a
lot of work! I was able to finish the job on time and on budget.

Keep in mind, all graphics had
to be cropped or resized, plus it was up to me to pick the artwork, layout
and content of each page of the website.
Please note: I was
not involved with the meta tags (such as keywords or descriptions), just
the design of the websites. I mention this because the last time
I checked some of the websites I designed lack those meta tags, which my
contractor was going to do personally, that was not part of my job.
They are not hosted nor maintained by me, so I do not know how long these
websites from templates will remain online.
The websites below may or
may not be online... I am hopeful you can still view my hard work after
tweaking those website templates!
