On a recent search for:

•  "lot loan in maryland" -  web sites I have designed are in position 1, 2, 4 and 5 out of 4,240,000 pages.   Yes out of more than four million pages I have four in the top ten!  How's that for results? 

• A search for a "low rate broker" lists sites by me in positions 1, 2 and 3 of 1,230,000. Over a million pages and I am 1, 2 and 3!

• UPDATED  Jan. 21 - A search for  "rip rap repair in maryland" lists  one of my designed sites, AtlanticShoreLine.net  Number 1 of 20,400.   For  "riprap repair in maryland", again number 1 of 629,700.  "erosion control in maryland" lists the same site designed by me Number 3 of 467,600.  But check this out... the AtlanticShoreLine.net site is a $99 one page  web site!   Is it ugly?  Yes, but it works.  So I will not "fix it".  On January  27, 2010 I uploaded a new one page web site.  Be sure to check out MarshSills.com - The Natural Approach To Shore Line Erosion Control.

• A "Duval Street Crawl" search returns a web site I have (that is under development and for sale) at number 1 of 8,780.  The Duval Street Crawl is WORLD FAMOUS!  Advertise with me on that site.  Or start your own Duval Street Crawl tour business with the DuvalStreetCrawl.com web site!  The traffic is there.  Call me.

• A search for a "construction loan in maryland"  lists these results:  web sites I designed  have positions 2, 3 and 7 of 600,000 pages.

• There is a little pub in Key West that I like, called Irish Kevin's.  Just for the heck of it I designed a little fan site and a sub section of another site to see if I could get the site/ pages into the Top Ten.  I did.  On Dec 18, 2009 A search for "irish kevins key west, fl " lists my sites number 3 and 7 of 103,000.  "Irish Kevins Duval Street": number 2, 3 and 5 of 16,600.  A search for "irish kevins" lists my sites at 4 and 9 of more than 12 million pages.

• Searching for "low rate mortgages",  web sites I have designed are number 5 and 12 out of more than 22 MILLION pages.  Yes one of the web sites designed by me is in the TOP TEN of 22,200,000 results. That is a long number, twenty two million two hundred thousand ! 

• A search for "antique store grasonville md" list one of my designed sites Number 1 of   5,890.  "antique shop grasonville md"  Number 1 and 2 of 3,540.  "antique store kent narrows" Number 1 of 5,260.  antique store kent narrows md" Number 1 of 8,340. "antique shop kent narrows" Number 1 of 3,650.  "antique shop kent narrows md" Number 1 of 6,490.  (There are close to a dozen antique stores in those areas).

• A search for a specific product sold at Eastern Bay Trading Company (the antique store listed above) for "Thompson Candle Melts" ... Number 1 of 8,770.  Linda always asks me "How do you do that?"

• Another product sold at Eastern Bay is "Koppes Kokonuts" coconut candles.  A search for "koppes kokonuts" lists Eastern Bay  Trading Number 1 and 2, the manufacturer at Number 3.    A variation on the spelling  "copes coconuts" lists Eastern Bay  Number 1 of 654,000.

• Another product sold at Eastern Bay Trading is Simple Scents soap.  A search for  "simple scents soap" lists them Number 5 of 1,030,000.  Top Ten once again out of more than one million pages.

• A search for "amazon lights" (a natural insect repellent) lists a site by me at Number 9 of 32,500,000.  I am in the Top Ten of 32,500,000 (that's thirty two million five hundred thousand).  "amazon lights natural insect repellent" lists a site by me at Number 2 of 27,700. 

• A search for a "low rate broker" lists sites by me in positions 1, 2 and 3 of 1,230,000. Over a million pages and I am 1, 2 and 3!

On June 23, 2010 I searched using various phrases for the image pictured to the left.   "furry can holder", "furry koozie", furry can cooler", "furry drink holder", "fuzzy can holder",  fuzzy koozie", "fuzzy can koozie", "foo foo koozie", "fu fu koozie", "muff koozie", "furry muff drink holder", "furry beer huggie", etc.  Guess what?

Bottom line:  Through my many years of web site design experience I have found what works best is this: The old concept of  K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid).  It really does work when it comes to web site design and search engine placement.
